Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements

In addition to fulfilling the Common University regulations, an applicant must satisfy the following requirements:

a) at least hold a second class Bachelors’ degree (Upper Division) in Education recognized by Moi University, or

b) hold at least a second class Bachelor’s degree (Upper Division) with a Post-graduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent certificate in Education, all recognized by Moi University. An applicant with some teaching experience in an educational setting will have an added advantage

c) hold at least a second class Bachelor’s degree (Lower Second) with at least two years experience.

d) Must have passed with atleast a B grade in the area applied for.

Course Duration

Duration of the Programme

These programmes run for two academic years (4 semesters) of full-time attendance. The first year is devoted to coursework and generation of a research proposal while the second year is normally spent on coursework, research and thesis writing
