BACHELOR OF EDUCATION ARTS

The Bachelor of Education (Arts) program is designed to produce professionally qualified teachers who will be competent in teaching arts subjects at secondary school level.

All students shall take an approved combination of the following teaching subjects from the school of Arts and Social Sciences: Kiswahili, Geography, History, literature, English, Economics and Religion, While Mathematics will be offered by School of Science. Objectives

All students admitted to the Degree of bachelor of Education must satisfy the minimum entrance requirements of the University as stipulated in the statutes. Candidates must also satisfy departmental requirements before registration for courses in a department.

Grading Scale

Degree Classification

 Degree are classified into first class honours, second class honours (upper division) second class honours (lower division) and pass.

The degree shall be graded as follows;
