DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

Introduction
The Department of Educational Psychology offers a doctorate programme leading to the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) in Educational Psychology. The department is currently offering courses to the undergraduate students in Educational Psychology and Guidance and Counselling and also Master of Philosophy programmes in Educational Psychology and Guidance and Counselling. The department therefore creates an opportunity for those who graduate with Masters Degrees to pursue studies at Doctor of Philosophy level.

Course Requirements
Students will be required to write a research proposal and take a minimum of eight (8) courses of three (3) units during the first year. The rest of the time will be devoted to research and thesis writing.
